SUNNIE LIU

Sunnie Liu is an interdisciplinary artist, narrative strategist, and organizer based between Houston and New York City.

Sunnie creates diasporic biomythography, critical fabulation, and liberation evangelism. Sunnie's work has been featured by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, Ely Center for Contemporary Art, Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, Asian American Arts Alliance, Storefront for Ideas, NYU Press, and POV on PBS.

Sunnie is currently an artist-in-residence at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Sunnie also co-founded Xin Sheng Project and co-led award-winning campaigns.
